Current Situation:

A new KZO client was having challenges coordinating training for their existing teams. Live training sessions provided the best results, but coordinating the events across multiple teams in multiple locations was expensive and time-consuming. They had an existing e-Learning solution with an online Learning Management System, but found that without live sessions, the teams had to engage with subject matter experts over email, which was inefficient and often resulted in redundant questions.

This client was interested in finding new ways to provide learning solutions for their teams. They decided to try The KZO Business Video Suite, which was already being successfully used by the sales team, to implement an online e-Learning solution.

The client was able to seamlessly integrate the KZO Business Video Suite with their existing learning solutions, providing the same e-Learning capabilities they were before – and with the KZO Video Player’s built-in collaboration features, they were able to replace live training entirely without losing the ability to rapidly exchange information.

The client had some existing video assets which were already being used for training – they were able to seamlessly import these into the KZO Video Library, instantly providing them with a new method of distribution. In cases where new video assets were needed, teams were able to easily create them with the KZO Virtual Studio. Subject matter experts could give training presentations directly from their laptops using their webcam, instead of setting up bulky and expensive studio equipment.

In addition, the collaboration features of the KZO Video Player allowed the teams to communicate with project managers, subject matter experts, and each other – in a manner that was just as effective as live meetings. Their discussions were kept in the Video Player for other viewers, benefiting not only the participants, but also any other teams viewing the videos.

Using the KZO Business Video Suite was easy even for teams with limited network availability – using the KZO Offline Player, they could download training materials and watch them anytime.

Client Results

Using the KZO Business Video Suite, the client was able to greatly simplify the process for training their business teams. Live meetings were no longer a necessity, since KZO was able to not only distribute the training material, but also provide collaboration functionality as well. Migrating to the KZO Video Library was painless, since existing video assets could be immediately uploaded. The KZO Platform could even integrate with their existing Learning Management System, eliminating the need to create an entire new set of user permissions and making the transition even easier.
